At least 2,800 people will celebrate Hari Raya, Kaamatan and Gawai with happier hearts this year through the Sentuhan Kasih 2019 programme.

237 members of Pusat Aktiviti Warga Emas (PAWE) in Tatau, Bintulu benefited from the recent Yayasan PETRONAS Sentuhan Kasih Raya activities with staff of PETRONAS Carigali Sarawak Gas, where the volunteers helped to clean and refurbish the activity centre as well as installing a new white board for the reading and writing classes organised for the illiterate senior citizens there.

Yayasan PETRONAS funded the new sign board for the Pusat Aktiviti Warga Emas (PAWE) in Tatau, Bintulu and items such as stationeries, exercise books, a new book shelf and curtains. The activity ended in a closing ceremony where the old folks were given food hampers for participating in fun games activities.

Pn Lita Bt Osman, CEO of Yayasan PETRONAS is handing over a bag of food essentials to Jabatan Kebajikan Masyarakat (JKM) representative as a symbolic launch of Program Sentuhan Kasih Yayasan PETRONAS in collaboration with PETRONAS Dagangan Berhad in conjunction with the upcoming Hari Raya Aidilfitri, Kaamatan and Gawai celebrations. Also, present Dato’ Sri Hj Sy Zainal Abidin Sy M Tahir, Vice President of Marketing, Downstream Business, PETRONAS and Azrul B Osman Rani, MD/CEO PETRONAS Dagangan Berhad.

The food essentials such as rice, milk, oil, anchovies, glutinous rice, ‘instant ketupat’, canned food, flour and PETRONAS gift cards will be distributed to 5,000 selected families nationwide in conjunction with the upcoming Hari Raya Aidilfitri, Kaamatan and Gawai celebrations.
