Yayasan PETRONAS, the social impact arm of PETRONAS, is seeking a talented and experienced Manager, Corporate Services to lead key functions in Finance, HRM and Legal that drive operational excellence and governance. This pivotal role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the organisation’s mission of creating meaningful social impact while ensuring compliance, efficiency, and integrity across operations.

What You’ll Do
Governance, Policy & Compliance

  • Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of governance frameworks, policies, and SOPs to ensure operational transparency, integrity, and regulatory compliance.
  • Assist in managing enterprise risk processes, including identifying and monitoring financial, operational, and reputational risks.
  • Promote and institutionalise a culture of ethical behavior, integrity, and accountability within Yayasan PETRONAS (YP).
  • Serve as the Legal focal, overseeing the drafting of legal agreements, including partnership agreements on behalf of YP.

Operational Excellence & Financial Oversight

  • Oversee day-to-day administrative, procurement, contract management, and office support functions to ensure operational efficiency and compliance with corporate standards.
  • Support financial management activities, including budget tracking, resource allocation, and cost optimisation, ensuring fiscal discipline and sustainability.
  • Ensure effective procurement management through transparent processes, vendor performance tracking, and adherence to ethical standards.
  • Manage all aspects related to tax compliance, including maintaining YP’s tax exemption status and liaising with relevant authorities to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.

Human Resource & Talent Management

  • Oversee HR functions, including workforce planning, recruitment support, capability development, and performance monitoring.
  • Drive initiatives to foster a collaborative, high-performing, and engaged organisational culture.
  • Support the implementation of employee engagement and well-being programs to promote a positive work environment.

HSE & Integrity

  • Facilitate the implementation of Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) initiatives to ensure compliance and promote a safe workplace culture.
  • Support the integration of integrity and ethical practices across all operations, aligning with organisational values.

Stakeholder Engagement & Board Governance

  • Act as the focal point for board governance matters, ensuring seamless coordination and effective communication with the Board of Trustees and key stakeholders.
  • Manage the end-to-end process for board meetings, including preparing and distributing board papers, agendas, and minutes, and ensuring timely follow-ups on action items.
  • Liaise with PETRONAS Group Strategic Business Governance (GSBG) to align board matters with corporate governance standards and requirements.
  • Coordinate governance reporting, submissions, and presentations to the Board of Trustees, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and alignment with organisational priorities.
  • Support the execution of board resolutions and directives, ensuring compliance and effective implementation within the organisation.

Key Accountabilities

  1. Governance & Compliance: Assist in the development and implementation of governance policies, risk frameworks, and board governance matters to ensure compliance and transparency.
  2. Operational Delivery: Oversee administrative, procurement, contract management, and office management functions to enable smooth operations within YP.
  3. Financial Management: Support financial tracking, budgeting, cost control, and ensure adherence to tax regulations and the maintenance of YP’s tax exemption status.
  4. HR Support: Drive HR initiatives, including workforce planning, performance management, and capability-building programs.
  5. HSE & Integrity: Promote HSE compliance and uphold integrity across YP’s operations.
  6. Stakeholder Engagement: Manage vendor relationships, procurement activities, and support board governance and reporting requirements.
  7. The Corporate Services Manager may be required to support other activities within YP from time to time

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Management, Finance, or related fields.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in corporate services, governance, HR, finance, procurement, or related functions.
  • Proven experience in managing administrative operations, financial processes, and procurement.
